Simon. " I had quite a few preconceptions about what it would be like to learn to drive. I thought that lessons would be dull and tedious, spending most of the time dawdling in car parks and side roads. I thought that instructors would become impatient or frustrated with mistakes, or else be really cold, reserved and unfriendly. I thought that lessons would become a hassle and a chore.
